Welcome to Phare Stories! We are a global streaming platform dedicated to being a “streaming sanctuary” for independent cinema and its creators. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Phare Stories website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Our Service
Phare Stories provides a free-to-watch, advertising-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) service that allows our users to discover and watch a curated library of independent films, documentaries, and other creative content (“Content”) from around the world.
- User Accounts
To access certain features of the Platform, you will need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep this information up-to-date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and you agree to maintain the security of your password.
- Content and Intellectual Property
For Our Viewers: All Content on the Platform is the property of its respective creators and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the Content for your personal, non-commercial use only.
For Our Creators: Filmmakers and content providers who submit their work to Phare Stories retain full ownership and copyright of their Content. By entering into a separate licensing agreement with us, you grant Phare Stories the necessary rights to stream your Content on our Platform.
Content Protection: We are committed to protecting the work of our creators. The Platform integrates robust anti-piracy measures, including dynamic, user-specific watermarking, to prevent unauthorized downloading and screen recording. Any attempt to circumvent these security measures is a direct violation of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
- Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
