“Paper Flowers” tells the story of a successful female writer who, after the failure of one of her works, faces deep sorrow. To cope with this failure, she retreats to an abandoned mansion, temporarily isolating herself from the city and her family. In isolation, she struggles to create a new masterpiece. Her journey takes her through the changing seasons, affecting both her environment and her creative state.
At first, she becomes consumed by her writings, and the nature outside her window wilts and fades. However, after facing an emotional storm, a transformation occurs. The woman, now dressed in a white shirt with vibrant words and patterns, returns to the garden. Her connection with nature is revived, and she regains her inspiration. Surrounded by doves and butterflies, with the garden now thriving, she begins to write again.
This film is a reflection on finding the balance between the woman’s inner and outer worlds and the revival of her creative spirit.
